MMA Files will try to find you 6 winners from each UFC event with ‘Six of the Best: Betting Tips’. Let’s take a look at UFC Fight Night 82: Hendricks vs. Thompson which takes place on Sunday (Australian time).

Johny Hendricks ($1.40) vs. Stephen Thompson ($2.94)

Thompson will try and deliver significant damage on the feet. I think Hendricks can get inside and complete enough takedowns to control the fight and get his hand raised.

Winner – Johny Hendricks

Roy Nelson ($1.59) vs. Jared Rosholt ($2.38)

Rosholt will look to take Nelson down and implement the style that has brought success. I think Nelson stays upright enough to hurt Rosholt and get the victory.

Winner – Roy Nelson

Mike Pyle ($2.23) vs. Sean Spencer ($1.66)

Pyle is an entertainer who can do everything and has so much experience. Spencer is a tough opponent with good hands but I think Pyle manages to add another ‘W’ to his record.

Winner – Mike Pyle

Damian Grabowski ($1.81) vs. Derrick Lewis ($2.00)

UFC debutant Grabowski has a mix of submission and TKO victories to his name. He has never been knocked out but I think Lewis may have his number in this fight and blemish that record.

Winner – Derrick Lewis

Noad Lahat ($1.27) vs. Diego Rivas ($3.82)

Lahat shows plenty of heart in all his fights and recently fought a real do-or-die battle back in his home country of Israel. Rivas came through The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America (TUFLA) reality show, is still unbeaten after six professional fights and won his UFC debut against a fellow TUFLA alum. It will be a very close fight but I give Lahat the edge.

Winner – Noad Lahat

Artem Lobov ($1.67) vs. Alex White ($2.18)

Lobov’s last opponent Ryan Hall was a bad matchup for him due to Hall’s elusiveness and elite grappling. White has more options to be able to win the fight than Lobov but will be prepared to strike and this may play more into Lobov’s preferred avenue for success. The result could go either way but I lean slightly towards Lobov.

Winner – Artem Lobov
